Today, we’ve added about 14 new collage styles for you to have fun with. Now, its so easy for us to create collage templates for you to play with, you’ll be seeing us adding them much more frequently. Also, as a feature-to-come, you will be able to design your own collage layouts and share with the world if you want! So be sure to check back here often to learn more about that ;)

A special note about the collages:
Remember you can customize almost everything, that includes the size (great for desktop wallpapers), background colors & patterns, toggle repeating, toggle clipping and so much more.

If you haven’t checked them out as yet, go play with them now.

Have Fun!

Some of our users have been asking us to add Photobucket and MySpace to our list of web sites that we connect to. Well, the reason for it is pretty simple, those sites currently don’t have a public API (Application Programming Interface) for us to use.  So until they provide one, or allow us to use it, you wouldn’t be seeing them in our list of available services you can connect to.

Currently, the list of services that you can connect to are 23, Facebook, Flickr and Webshots. Imageshack will be available soon as well. You can always check our Connect page for the list of all available services.

Some may wonder what is the advantage of connecting to these services from our web site as opposed to uploading your pictures from a computer or for any reason at all.

  1. Well, for starters, it means that you don’t have to be on your personal computer to physically access your pictures.
  2. Also, it reduces the hassle of having to download the pictures if they are on a web site or our site, then to upload them again (or you can simply import the picture using its URL).

Then, once you’re finished editing your pictures or creating a collage or creating an animation, you can save the new picture directly to your account (No download necessary!). This works really simple as well, once your connected to one of the services, and you select “Save” from the toolbar, the option always appears to save directly to your account (or album) on the connected service whether it be Flickr, Facebook, Webshots, etc.

If you run a photo sharing/hosting web site and would like our users to connect to your service, we’ll set up the necessary stuff on our side once you provide an API for us to use. Just drop us a note and we’ll try to make it happen.

We’ll be launching our own Public API soon as well so you can definitely look out for that, it’s going to be really interesting to see how you developers and external applications use and interact with our API given access to the core features of our site.

We’ll be talking more about this and some other stuff really soon so stay tuned!

Hey guys, we’re on Facebook! It took us about 4 days to put together a little application for Facebook since we were MIA since the launch of their new and exciting development platform. We finally released it on the 21st of June and we currently have about 2500 users.

So why wait? Click here to go check it out if you haven’t as yet. Currently you can only create collages from the photos in your albums or you can select photos of you on Facebook. Editing and other features will be coming soon.

We also connect directly to Facebook from our web site. It works similar to the Facebook application, except that you can enjoy all the features of our web site and save directly to an album on your Facebook. Go to the Connect page to learn more!

Here is our image for our Facebook Application:
